The Petitioners have challenged the common order dated 30-92014 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Konkan Division, by which order, the Revision Applications being No.385 of 2014, 373 of 2014, 372 of 2014 and
376 of 2014, filed by the Petitioners above named, came to be dismissed. The said Revision Applications were filed against the order passed by the Additional Collector in the Appeals filed by the Petitioners. In terms of the unreported Judgment of a Division Bench in LPA No.55 of 2003 in Writ Petition No.7477 of 2002, dated 13-7-2005 an alternate remedy by way of Second Revision is available to the Petitioners. In so far as the above Petitioners are concerned, they had earlier filed Writ Petition No.2942 of 2014 and companion Petitions, which came to be disposed of by this court by order dated 21-7-2014 by directing the Additional Commissioner Konkan Division, to treat the Appeals filed by the Petitioners as Revisions under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.
The Ad-interim order which was operating in favour of the Petitioners which was granted by a Division Bench of this Court when the Petitions were moved before the Division Bench on 21-1-2014, was continued till the disposal of the Revision Applications. The Revision Applications as indicated above were dismissed by the Additional Collector, Konkan Division on 30-9-2014, to enable the Petitioners to avail of the said remedy by way of Second Revision, the order of status-quo granted by the Division Bench vide order dated 21-1-2014, is continued for a period of 4 weeks from date. If the Revision Applications are filed within 4 weeks, the Petitioners would be entitled to apply for continuation of order of status-quo before the Revisionary Authority.

The Revisionary Authority is also directed to hear and decide the said Revision Applications if filed, expeditiously and not later than 3 months from date which would include the four weeks which have been granted for filing of the Revision Applications. If the Revision Applications are not filed, the order of status-quo would cease to operate after 4 weeks. With the aforesaid observations the Writ Petitions are disposed of. [R.M.SAVANT, J]
