1] The applicant is apprehending arrest in CR No. Lac/2/2018 dated 15.1.2018 registered with Deonar Police Station, Mumbai under Sections 8(c) r/w 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2] Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP. Perused the record of investigation.

3] On receipt of a confidential information that, at a particular place of residence, the co-accused Sahil Shaikh has stored the contraband, 1/2

aba.298-2018.doc the police conducted raid and found about 1.77 Kgs of Ganja and 350 bottles of medicine. That according to the prosecution, it is the prohibited medicines used for intoxication by users. During the course of investigation, the said co-accused Sahil Shaikh revealed that the present applicant is his mother-in-law. That the applicant and his father-in-law namely Raees Shaikh has stored the contraband in his house for further sale of it. A bare perusal of the record of investigation, clearly indicates the clear complicity of the applicant in the present crime under the N.D.P.S. Act and this Court is of the view that the applicant does not deserve to be protected by pre-arrest bail.
