This is an application seeking modification of the order of bail granted by this Court on 12th November, 2020. It is submitted that in lieu of surety cash bail was furnished in the sum of Rs.25,000/-. However, due to poor condition applicant could not secure surety/s and therefore, a prayer is made either to reduce the amount of bond and surety to the extent of Rs.15,000/- or in the alternative, the cash bail be continued till the conclusion of the trial.

27-IA-685-2021.doc Learned APP submits that no steps have been taken till date. Considering the situation and the circumstances, the order dated 12th November, 2020 stands modified as under; " Instead of Rs. 25,000/-, the applicant be released on furnishing a P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount within four weeks."

Upon furnishing sureties as above, the applicant is at liberty to withdraw the amount of cash bail deposited either with the trial Court or with the Investigating Officer.
