The matter was settled in the Lok-Adalat held on 8th July 2017. The legal heirs of the original Claimant Anil Nikam are to be brought on record. The legal heirs are Swati, his widow aged 31 years, Omkar, their son aged 14 years, and Raj, their younger son aged 11 years.

The amendment is permitted in the First Appeal as also in the original Claim before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal ("MACT"). Amendment in the First Appeal to be carried out by 21st July 2017 without need of reverification. The Registry will 11th July 2017
911-CAF3534-13.DOC permit this on an authenticated copy of the order. A formal application with the supporting documents is to be filed in the Registry by 17th July 2017.

The amendment to the original Claim is to be carried out by 26th July 2017. The MACT will permit the amendment on production of an authenticated copy of this order and will not require reverification.

The Civil Application is hereby allowed. Since the two sons are minors, their mother Swati is permitted to withdraw the amount on their behalf.
