Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith.

Petitioner has preferred an application for parole on 13th May 2013, which came to be granted by the order dated 24th June 2013 for 30 days parole, commencing from 16th July 2013. The Petitioner had to surrender back on 14th August 2013. Thereafter, the Petitioner has preferred an application for extension of parole period for another 30 1/2 WP-708-14.doc
days. This application for extension of parole came to be rejected. Being aggrieved thereby, this Petition has been preferred. 4.
The learned A.P.P. has tendered the affidavit of Mrs. Swati Jogdand, Deputy Superintendent of Prison, Kolhapur Central Prison, Kalamba, Kolhapur, wherein it is stated that the Petitioner was convicted in Sessions Case No.47/1994. Petitioner has completed the period of punishment imposed on him in the said case and he has been released from prison.

In view of the above facts, the prayer of the Petitioner has become infructuous. Hence, rule is discharged. Petition is disposed of. 6.
