By an order dated 8 December 2022, this Court had recorded the statement made by the Petitioner that he will deposit the arrears of maintenance within three weeks. The said statement being made by the Petitioner, a notice was issued to the Respondent, and non-bailable warrant issued against the Petitioner was stayed till 6 February 2023. It was also clarified that if the Petitioner fails to deposit the arrears of maintenance within a period of three weeks from the date of order i.e. 8 December 2022, the order of stay granted to the non-bailable warrant would stand recalled. 2.

Thereafter on 30 November 2023, the matter was on 1/2

7-wp1277-20.doc board, nobody appeared on behalf of the Petitioner. On 7 December 2023, when the matter was on board, again nobody appeared on behalf of the Petitioner. Even today, when the matter is called out, nobody appears for the Petitioner. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
