By this application, the Applicant has sought to condone the delay in filing appeal against Judgment and Award dated 02.12.1999 in Land Reference No.87 of 1991, whereby the Reference Court has awarded enhanced compensation at the rate of Rs.12000/- per Hector. 2.
The amount awarded is meagre. The delay condonation application is pending since the year 2005. The Respondents are not yet served. No steps have been taken to serve the Respondents since last 13 years. Learned Counsel for the Applicant states that the papers have been misplaced and she is unable to state whether the enhanced amount has been deposited before the Reference Court.
