The Petitioner seeks expeditious consideration and disposal of Special Darkhast No.8 of 2016 that is stated to be pending in the Court of learned Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Panvel. In view of the recent decision of the Supreme Court in the case of High Court Bar Association Allahabad vs. State of U. P. & Ors., in Criminal Appeal No.3589 of 2023 decided on 29th February 2024, the Petitioner is granted liberty to make this prayer before the Executing Court and seek expeditious disposal of the said proceedings. If any such request is made by the Petitioner, the same shall be considered in accordance with law. 2.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with aforesaid liberty. The learned counsel for the Petitioner appointed to represent the Petitioner be paid his fees as per Rules.
