This petition questions the order made by the Additional Commissioner, Konkan Division in the matter of entries in the survey records.

Mr. Apte, learned senior counsel for the petitioner points out that some of the petitioners as well as some of the respondents have already instituted the civil suits with regard to the suit property. 3.

In the aforesaid circumstances, it is not necessary to entertain the present petition. However, it is made clear that the impugned orders or for that matter, non entertainment of this petition, shall not in any manner

6-wp-4016.2014.sxw influence the civil court in deciding the pending civil suits. This is because such entries in the revenue records are by no means determinative of the title of the parties to the suit property.

With the aforesaid observations, present petition is disposed of. The pending civil suits shall be decided in accordance with the law and on their own merits.
