The petitioners' request for transfer to a primary school under the control of Palghar Zilla Parishad, at the relevant time, could not be considered as there was a code of conduct in force. There was an election declared and from a constituency in Palghar District resulting in the code of conduct being promulgated. It is stated that at the relevant time, the request for J.V.Salunke,P.S.

162(ii)-WP.3475.2016+1.doc transfer to Palghar District could not be granted, but subsequently, that has been granted and in the year 2018. In view thereof, both the writ petitions are rendered infructuous. They are disposed of as infructuous.
