By this application through jail, the applicant seeks expeditious disposal of his case which is pending before the learned Sessions Judge. Mr. Shiraz, learned amicus curiae for the applicant states that the sessions case being Sessions Case No. 206 of 2011 was expedited earlier and it appears that time was extended thereafter, however, till date, the case has not concluded.

Learned A.P.P on instructions states that the prosecution has examined all witnesses and the matter is posted on 3rd December, 2016 for recording the 313 statement of the applicant and others. SQ Pathan 1/2

Considering the statement of the learned A.P.P and the stage on which the trial is, the application is allowed to the extent that the learned Judge, Sessions Court, Thane, shall conclude the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within three months from the date of receipt of this order.

The application is disposed of accordingly.

A copy of this order be forwarded to the learned Sessions Judge, Thane and also to the applicant, who is lodged in Taloja Central Prison.

The Court expresses a word of gratitude for the assistance rendered by the learned amicus curiae.
