This petition challenges order dated 19th September, 2009 passed by the High Power Committee-1, Government of Maharashtra rejecting Application No.896 of 2009 filed by the petitioner for inclusion of her name for benefit under the Government Free Housing Policy.

From the impugned order itself, it is evident that the

Priya Soparkar 918 wp 8550-19-c writ petition is delayed by more than ten years. There is hardly any explanation for such delay in the writ petition. That apart, High Power Committee in the impugned order has recorded a finding of fact that as on the applicable date. Petitioner was residing in Government Quarter provided to her husband who was then working in the Government Medical Store Depot. 4.

At this distant point of time, Court is not inclined to resurrect an issue which in all probability has lost its force. Consequently relief sought for is declined. 5.

Writ Petition is dismissed.
