After hearing learned Counsel for the Petitioners for some time, when the Court was not inclined to entertain these Writ Petitions, the learned Counsel for Petitioners, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw these Petitions. However, it is submitted that the proceedings are pending since last 15 years before the trial court. 2.
Per contra, the learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent No.2 submits that the Petitioners are seeking adjournment before the trial court, and therefore, trial is not proceeding. 3.
Be that as it may, since the trial is pending before the trial court, since last several years, directions can be given to expedite the trial. Hence, the following order.
ORDER
(a) Writ Petitions are allowed to be withdrawn.
(b) Trial is expedited.
