Only relief that can be granted in the Petition is that the ban, which is imposed for the entire counting day is reduced to the time till the results are declared. This order is passed for reasons stated in Writ Petition No. 2139 of 2017 alongwith six other Petitions decided on 17th February, 2017. It is clarified that so far as Polling day is concerned, since Polling day is over that relief is not pressed. The Government Pleader shall inform the concerned Collector.
