Coram : NITIN W. SAMBRE, J.

Date : 16th JULY, 2021 P.C.:

1.

Heard.

Learned counsel appearing for the Applicant submits that after the order of this Court dated 14th July, 2021 immediately demand draft of Rs.5,30,000/- has been deposited in this Court. Statement is accepted.

3.

The amount involved in the crime as such stands secured. 4.

Let the said amount be transferred to the trial Court out of Crime No. 338 of 2018 registered with Pantnagar Police Station,

2/3 punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The fact remains that the Applicant is enjoying ad-interim protection given by this Court (Coram : Prakash D. Naik, J.) since 14th February, 2021 i.e. more than 1 1⁄2 years.

5.

As the amount itself is secured, in my opinion, the custodial interrogation of the Applicant is not warranted. As such, ad-interim protection granted by this Court stands confirmed. Hence, the application is allowed by following order.

O R D E R

i) Ad-interim protection granted by this Court stands confirmed.
