After the order was pronounced, the respondent says that there is a remedy to approach the Hon'ble Supreme Court in terms of sub-section (1) of section 19 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, and to enable him to present such an appeal, the execution and enforcement of our order be stayed. SRP 1/2

SMCP1.17-Stay.doc Having considered this request and bearing in mind the language of sub-section (1) of section 19, we suspend the enforcement and execution of our order for a period of six (6) weeks. However, we clarify that there will be no further extension.
