1] On 22.6.2022 it was recorded that in the subject CR charge sheet has been filed against the co-accused Ganesh Pujari. Considering the limited role attributed to the present Applicant he was directed to attend to the Investigating Officer. 2] The learned APP do not dispute that the Applicant had accordingly reported and rendered his possible co-operation in investigation.

3] The learned APP on instructions from the Investigating Officer makes a statement that custodial interrogation is not necessary in the subject CR.

(2)ABA-556-2020.doc 4] In the wake of above, order protecting the Applicant from arrest deserves confirmation in the following manner. Hence, the following order :

ORDER

(a) Application is allowed.

(b) In the event of arrest in connection with C.R.No.71/2019 registered with Vanrai Police Station, the applicant Jayasheela S. Shetty shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. bond to the extent of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties of the like amount.

(c) The applicant shall report to the concerned police station as and when called for.

(d) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with facts of case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Officer and should not tamper with evidence.
