A request is made on behalf of the respondents to extend the stay granted to the operation of the judgment and order passed in Writ Petition No.2736 of 2015. The request is made because the 5th respondent, in whose favour the permission was granted, has continued the mining activities. Now that the permission is cancelled or quashed and set aside, under the garb of seeking stay to the operation of the judgment and order of this Court, the 5th respondent desires to continue with the mining activities. Once the permission itself is quashed by this Court by a Speaking Order, meaning assigning elaborate reasons, we do not see any basis for granting this request. The request is refused. (PRAKASH D.
