1) This is an application for restoration of Criminal Revision Application No. 374/2015 which was dismissed in default by an Order dated 8/2/2016. By the said Order dated 18/3/2016 the notice of this application was issued to the respondent no.1. In addition to Court notice, the applicant was permitted to serve the respondent no.1 by private notice. The note put up by the Registry mentions that the applicant herein has served the respondent no.1 by way of RPAD and the acknowledgment of the receipt is produced on record in that behalf.

2) The respondent no.1 is absent though duly served. There is no delay in preferring the present application for restoration. 3) For the reasons mentioned in the application and in the interest of justice, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).
