On 7 September 2023 following order was passed "A grievance of the Petitioner is that in spite of an email, that is, indicating selection status of the Petitioner that the Petitioner is selected, there is no response forthcoming from Respondent No.1-University.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner has made a grievance to the University Grants Commission. We find no communication to the concerned Registrar by the Petitioner calling on the University to give admission to the Petitioner pursuant to the above mentioned email or reason why the Petitioner is not being given admission. The Petitioner will have to first demand the prayer that is being sought before us from the Respondents before the writ is issued in Petitioner's favour. J.R.Mane 2 28-wp 2579-23.doc disposed of the Petition, however, considering that the Petitioner is a student, we defer the hearing of this Petition to 5 October 2023.

The Petitioner will issue a letter to Respondent No.1University in respect of the Petitioner's grievance and also annex a copy of this Petition as and by way of service." The learned counsel appears for Respondent No.1 and states that representation/grievance has been received, same will be looked into and appropriate decision as per law would be taken, and the decision would be informed to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
