By this petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the Petitioner is challenging the several orders passed by the Respondents in respect of their contract. He further submits that even the Petitioner' s firm's license is not renewed by the Respondents. Hence they preferred an application dated 24/11/2020 (Exh.R - page 390 of the petition) for renewal of firm in approved list of contract of Chief Engineer, Southern Command, Pune. He submits that in the interest of justice, the Respondents be directed to decide the application without being influenced by the earlier orders passed by them. URS 1 of 2

Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and as the Petitioner's application dated 24/11/2020 is pending, it is necessary in the interest of justice to direct the Respondents to decide the same as early as possible, but in any case, within 8 weeks from today. Hence, the following order is passed :-

ORDER

(i) Respondent No.1 - Hear Quarter Chief Engineer, Southern Command, Pune is directed to decide the Petitioner's application dated 24/11/2020 (Exh.R - page 390 of the petition) for renewal of his firm in approved list of contract of the Chief Engineer, Southern Command, Pune, as early as possible, but in any case, on or before 30/10/2021 and inform them their decision in writing.

(ii) Liberty is granted to the Petitioner, if they so desire, to file additional documents and submission, within one week from today in support of his application dated 24/11/2020. (iii) All contentions of both the parties are kept open. (iv) No order as to costs.
