Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner informs the Court that the petitioner is ready to pay the arrears of maintainance, which are due as per the order dated 20.10.2016 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thane and which is confirmed by the learned Sessions Judge by order dated 1.1.2019. He submits that the husband is ordered to pay Rs.20,000/- to the wife and Rs.10,000/- to the minor daughter. 2.

Learned Counsel for the respondent/wife informs that from February, 2018 to April, 2019, the amount of arrears would come to approximately Rs.4,50,000/-.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner/husband submits that he is ready to pay Rs.4,50,000/- to the wife on or before June, 2019. He prays that the trial in the main application u/s 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act filed by the wife, is to be directed to be concluded finally. Thus, he submits that this petition can be disposed of.

The learned Counsel for the wife has no objection for an expediting hearing of he application.

In the circumstances, the petition is disposed of with the following order:

i) The petitioner/husband shall deposit the dues of Rs.4,50,000/- on or before 1.6.2019 directly in the bank account of the wife and also shall go on paying the said amount till the main application i.e., the application under section 12 filed by the wife is disposed of by the trial Court. ii) The trial Court to proceed with the main application and decide it finally on or before 30.11.2019.
