Learned A.P.P. submitted that, in pursuance of Order passed by this Court dated 15th June 2022, the Additional Director General and Inspector General of Prisons has issued Circular dated 11th August 2022, directing all the concerned to submit their respective reports within stipulated period to enable to decide the furlough/parole applications of the prisoners expeditiously.

In view of the above, we find that nothing further survives in the present Petition and the Petition is accordingly disposed off. 3.
However, we grant liberty to the Petitioner to file a fresh application for furlough/parole leave or other application before the Competent Authority as may be permissible in law, if his grievance still subsists.
