The direction sought in this petition is to take action against the police officer. In our opinion, the grievance of the petitioner can be redressed by the higher authorities of the police department. 2.

In that view of the matter, if the grievance of the petitioner still subsists, we direct the Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai to look into the same and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within 10 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations, writ petition stands disposed of. 4.
