Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner. The counsel submitted that Petitioner had approached this Court seeking direction to the respondent authority for deciding the appeal preferred by Petitioner against the order of externment. Learned counsel, on instructions, submitted that during the pendency of petition, the appeal preferred by Petitioner has been decided by the appellate authority and the result has been favourable to the Petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the above fact-situation, the petition is rendered infructuous. He, therefore, on the instructions of Petitioner who is personally present in Court, prayed for the withdrawal of writ petition. Leave granted.
