This is an Application for modification / relaxation of para 9 of condition No. (ii) of the Order dated 03.07.2017 passed by this Court ( Coram : Prakash D. Naik, J. ) in Cri. B. A. No. 1043 of 2017. 2.

The condition of which modification is sought reads thus :- "(ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail on furnishing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one or more local sureties in the like amount."

Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that the

APPP 166-18.doc Applicant is a resident of West Bengal and that it is not possible for him to get local sureties. He, therefore, prays that the Applicant be permitted to give sureties from West Bengal.

For the reasons set out in the Application, the Application is allowed and accordingly, the condition (ii) is modified to the extent that the Applicant shall now be released on bail on furnishing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. 5.

Accordingly, the Application is disposed of.

Rest of the conditions to remain as it is.
