Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioner, does not press prayer clauses (a) and (b) and only requests , that this court be pleased to direct the learned Special Judge at Sessions Court, Mumbai, to decide the petitioner's application Exh. 20 filed in the Special Case no. 12 of 2017 expeditiously, within a specific time frame. Perused the papers. The petitioner has filed the said application (Exh. 20) and has sought "no objection" for Borey 1/2

spb/ 911wp865-18.odt issuance of a new passport, as per the rules. The said application was filed on 22.01.2018 and it is informed that till date, reply has not been filed by the respondent therein. Without going into the merits, it would be appropriate to direct the learned Special Judge to decide the said application (Exh 20) filed in special case no. 12 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible and in any event within three weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
