There was no appearance on behalf of the Petitioner on 12/10/2017 as well as on 02/11/2017. 2] The Petitioner seeks allotment of tenement under the discretionary quota relatable to category 3.6 under the policy for allotting tenement under the sports quota. When this writ petition was admitted, it was directed to be heard with Writ Petition No.914 of 2010. It is seen that this writ petition came to be disposed of on 24/07/2017 in view of the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No.1956 of 2009 (Mahendra Bakliwal vs. State of Maharashtra) decided on 25/4/2017 holding that such discretionary quota is illegal and unconstitutional.
