By a reasoned Order dated 21st February, 2018, the applicant was granted interim relief.
Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP. Perused the record of investigation. 2.
The first informant was major on the day of incident. The acquaintance of the first informant with the applicant was established on social media namely "Facebook", which was subsequently blossomed into an affair. The record further indicates that the applicant by giving promise to marry with the first informant established physical 1/2
11-ABA324-18.DOC relations with her and subsequently resiled from the said promise. In view of the peculiar facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court is of the view that the applicant is entitled to be protected by pre-arrest bail. 3.
Interim relief granted by Order dated 21st February, 2018 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer of concerned police station is waived.

Application is allowed in aforesaid terms.

The applicant as a condition of pre-arrest bail, shall not contact the first informant or shall not pressurise or threaten any of the prosecution witnesses.
