Heard. The short issue involved in the present Writ Petition is to direct the Respondent to decide the Petitioner's Application dated 6th February, 2018 for allotment of land as per the Maharashtra Project Affected Persons Rehabilitation Act,1999.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that earlier they filed application on 11th July, 2015. That was in respect of the land bearing Gut No.415, Mauje-Jategaon Budruk, Tal. Shirur but the same was not decided by the authority. Hence, he filed fresh application Aswale 1/2

33.wp.4721.18.doc dated 6th February, 2018 in respect of Gut No.239 at village Mauje Digraswadi, Tal. Shirur.

In view of these facts, Respondent No.4-Sub Divisional Officer is directed to decide the Petitioner's Application dated 6th February, 2018 on its own merits, as early as possible but in any case within four months from the receipt of a certified copy of this order. The Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.

The learned AGP is directed to forward a copy of this order to the concerned officer immediately.
