The final reliefs sought in the above Writ Petition pertains to setting aside an ex-parte order dated 23rd November, 1961 passed by the Respondent No.2 - Collector and to also set aside the mutation entry No.211 dated 20th May, 1966. When we informed the Advocate for the Petitioner that we are not inclined to grant the reliefs as sought, he has not pressed the same but has instead sought directions against the Respondent No.2 to dispose off the Application dated 1st October, 2020 filed by him. In view thereof, we pass the following order : (i) The Respondent No.2 - Collector, Raigad shall after hearing the Petitioner and/or his Advocate, dispose off the Application dated 1st October, 2020 within 8 weeks from the date of this Order strictly on merits. (ii) All contentions of the parties are kept open. SSP 1/2
