Mr. Chetan Patil i/b Mr. S. K. Hande for the Petitioner. Mr. S. B. Kalel, AGP for the Respondent-State. Coram : Ranjit More & Smt. S. S. Jadhav, JJ.

Date : March 26, 2018.

P. C. :

1.

At the outset, Mr. Kalel, learned AGP having taken instructions from his client makes a statement that the order in respect of which breach is alleged to have been committed, namely the order dated 22nd / 23rd January 2017, is complied with inasmuch as the Petitioner's proposal is rejected and therefore remedy of the Petitioner is to challenge the said order by filing separate writ petition. This statement is not disputed by Mr. Patil, learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

2.

Evidently, by the order dated 22nd / 23rd January 2017, the Education Officer was directed to dispose of the said proposal of the Petitioners within the timeframe of four weeks. This order is complied with, though belatedly. Learned AGP however assures on behalf of the Respondent that in future utmost care would be taken and orders of this Court would be complied with within time. In view of the assurance given, we do not propose to proceed further in these contempt petitions. Contempt petitions are, therefore, dismissed. Needles to state that the Petitioners are at liberty to challenge the orders rejecting their proposals.
