The grievance of the Petitioners is that an application filed by them under Section 36-1(a) of the Maharashtra Public Trust Act, 1950 has not been decided by the Jt. Charity Commissioner for the last 12 years. It is submitted that a direction may be given to him to decide the said representation expeditiously. Since the said application is pending for such a long time, we are of the view that a 1 / 2

WP. 2465-17 direction can be given to the Joint Charity Commissioner to decide the said application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of this order. With this direction, both the writ petitions are disposed of.
