This is a petition filed by the petitioner, through the Legal Services Authority. The petitioner in the present petition prays that his family should not be evicted from the official residence.

The petitioner is a suspended police officer. The petition, seeking the aforesaid relief is clearly not maintainable. SQ Pathan 1/2

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed on the ground of maintainability.

Needless to state, that it is open for the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings, before the appropriate forum as maintainable in law.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the petition and as such all contentions of all the parties on merits, are kept open.
