Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition was filed in this Court for directions to grant compensation to the petitioner. It is then submitted that post filing of the petition, the petitioner was in receipt of the compensation and subsequently, on 1st June 2021 has expired. The submission before this Court that firstly the grievance raised in the petition no more survives and secondly, the petitioner who had filed the petition is no more available for prosecuting the matter due to his demise. As such, the counsel prayed for withdrawal of petition. The Writ Petition is allowed to be withdrawn and disposed of as such.
