Applicant was granted interim protection vide order dated 22nd February, 2018. This Hon'ble Court after making several observations in the said order had issued certain directions to Director General of Police and report was called for. The said report was taken on record vide order dated 27th July, 2018. In

the said order it was observed that Director General of Police has taken note of the observations made by this Court in its order dated 29th June, 2018 and has adopted appropriate remedy and measures in that behalf. It is further stated that the investigations of both the crimes mentioned in the said order have been transferred to ACP, Kurla Division and DCP, Zone-V, Mumbai is directed to supervise the investigation, in compliance of the order dated 29th June,2018.

Learned APP on instructions from the officer who is present in the Court submitted that the chargesheet will be filed within one week from today.

Considering the submissions advanced by the learned APP, the chargesheet will be filed within one week, it is apparent that investigation is completed and custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary. In the circumstances, interim protection order dated 22nd February, 2018 is required to be confirmed.

ORDER

i) Anticipatory Bail Application No. 335 of 2018 is allowed; ii) Interim order dated 22nd February, 2018 is confirmed; iii) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with CR No. 320 of 2017 registered with Kurla Police Station, the applicant

be released on bail on furnishing PR bond of Rs.15000/- with one or two local sureties in the like amount;

iv) Applicant shall not tamper with the evidence and/or influence the prosecution witnesses;

v) Anticipatory Bail Application No. 335 of 2018 and Criminal Application No. 791 of 2018 stand disposed off. ( PRAKASH D. NAIK, J. )
