Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The only prayer made on behalf of the Petitioner is for expeditious consideration of the Revision Application that has been preferred by the Petitioner under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. In the said Revision Application, the order dated 12th October 2023 passed by the Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies (Dairy) is under challenge.

On 28th February 2024, the learned Assistant Government Pleader was directed to obtain instructions as regards the time that would be required to decide the Revision Application. Today on instructions, it is submitted that within a period of eight weeks the Revision Application would be decided.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Respondent No.1 to decide the said Revision Application on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks of receiving copy of this order. The Revision Application shall be decided after hearing the Petitioner, Respondent Nos.4 and 5 and all other concerned parties.

Keeping all points raised on merits open, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Rule accordingly.
