We are inclined to dispose of the present Writ Petition as the challenge is basically raised to the show cause notice/notices issued under Section 81 (3) (b) of The Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 pending Section 88 inquiry.

Considering the submissions so made by the learned Senior counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the fact that as the show cause notice dated 3 February 2016 is issued whereby calling upon the Petitioner to give an explanation within 15 days, we are of the view at this stage the Petitioner to reply to the said show cause notice as early as possible and

Rng 2 preferably within a period of three weeks from today. The concerned Respondents to decide the same in accordance with law and on the issue including that of jurisdiction as early as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks. However, it is made clear that in the meantime, no coercive steps to be adopted against the Petitioner till adjudication of the show cause notice and for a period of two weeks from the date of communication if the order is adverse to the Petitioner. Petition is disposed of accordingly. All points on merits are kept open. No costs.
