The above Contempt Petition has been filed seeking to punish the Respondent for violating the order of this Court dated 14th December, 2023. The order dated 14th December, 2023 inter alia directed the Tehsildar to return money of Rs.2,31,200/- within two weeks of receiving the application from the Petitioner. The amount was to be refunded together with interest @ 9% from the date the amount was deposited until the refund amount is credited to the Petitioner's account.

Today when the matter is called out, the learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Petitioner fairly stated that the order dated 14th December, 2023 has been duly complied with and the Petitioner have received the money. She, therefore, states that the Petitioner is no longer interested in prosecuting the above Contempt Petition. 3.

Considering the aforesaid statement and the fact that no show cause notice is issued in the above Contempt Petition, we dismiss the above Contempt Petition. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
