Petition is filed seeking transfer of investigation of the subject CR. Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner makes a grievance that though FIR is registered on 16th December 2012, as on today there is no progress. Learned APP, on instructions, makes a statement that there is a cross complaint. He further states that subject FIR was initially investigated by PSI, now investigation is taken over by Senior Inspector of Police. Statement is accepted. In the light of statement and especially in view of the allegations made in the FIR, we are of the view that this is not the fit case for transfer of investigation. We are therefore not inclined to entertain the writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. Senior Police Inspector of Mahad Police Station is however directed to expeditiously complete the investigation and file appropriate report before the appropriate Court.
