Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for State.

The present petition is filed by the petitioner through Post from Yerwada Central Prison, Pune praying for fresh investigation to be carried out by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or Crime Investigation Department (CID).

The petitioner was an accused in a crime which was investigated and charge-sheet was filed and the same was subsequently numbered as MCOCA No.333 of 2016, pending before the MCOC Court at Pune. At the instance of the petitioner, who is an accused, a fresh investigation cannot be ordered.
