Heard. Mr. Sabrad, learned counsel for petitiooner, at the outset, makes a statement that he is restricting this petition to relief claimed in prayer clause (bb). Statement accepted. 2.

Prayer (bb) reads as follows :- "(bb) Or in the alternative, the Respondent No.1 be directed to hear and decide the request made by the Respondent No.2 vide letter dated 20.5.2003 as well as subsequent representations made by the Petitioner expeditiously;"

The learned AGP has no objection to the Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra being directed to dispose of the request made

In the above circumstances, we dispose of the above petition by directing the Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra to dispose of the request of respondent No.2 contained in the letter dated 20.5.2003 (a copy of which is annexed at Exhibit "A-2" at page 27-C of the petition) as expeditiously as possible and preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that we have not gone into merits of the matter. All points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open.

In order to enable respondent No.1 to comply with this order, the petitioner shall remain present before respondent No.1 on 10.5.2018 along with a copy of the said request and a copy of this order.
