Upon production, taken on board. 2] In view of the decision of this Court in the case of Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani vs. The State of Maharashtra & Ors.1, the second revision is maintainable before the State Government against the order made by the Sub Divisional Officer in exercise of revisional jurisdiction. In fact, the decision of this Court has been upheld by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Civil Appeal No. 5102 of 2006.

3] In view of the aforesaid, there is no necessity to entertain the present petition. However, the petitioner is granted liberty to institute the revision petition before the State Government under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. Such revision petition, if instituted, will be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4] This petition is therefore dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to institute revision petition.

5] All concerned to act on basis of authenticated copy of this order.
