By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondents to remove the encroachment in Gat No. 542 to 543 in village Dalaj. The petitioner has an alternate efficacious remedy for seeking removal of the encroachment under section 53 of the Maharasahtra Village Panchayat Act. It would be necessary for the petitioner to avail the said remedy, if so advised.

In the circumstances of the case, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
