The Petitioner was 63 years old when he filed this petition in the year 2002. By the petition filed in the year 2002, the Petitioner has challenged the order of suspension dated 7 July 1989. The petition was twice dismissed for default and restored. On the last occasion i.e. on 17 March 2023, the following order was passed: "1.

The matter was called out on 2nd January 2023. On the said date, none appeared for the Petitioner. The matter was adjourned.

Today also, when the matter is called out, none appears for the Petitioner.

If on the next date, none appears for the Petitioner, the Court would be constrained to dismiss the Petition. 4.

In the interest of justice, place the matter for final hearing in the weekly board commencing from 12th June 2023."

It appears that by passage of time the Petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the petition. The petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
