It transpires on perusal of the orders dated 4.1.2014 and 9.1.2014 that the name of the petitioner has been recommended for making appointment to the post of District Sports Officer. In view of the above, the grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition appears to have been redressed. The counsel for the petitioner is absent today. On the last occasion also when the matter was called out, the counsel did not remain present. In view of the order issued by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission recommending the name of the petitioner to the post of District Sports Officer, nothing survives for consideration in the petition. Contempt petition is accordingly dismissed.
