This is an application seeking condonation of delay. The applicant herein has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376 of IPC and sentenced to R.I. for ten years and fine of Rs.5,000/- in default R.I. for two years and under Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 to suffer R.I. for 7 years and fine of Rs.5,000/- in default R.I. for one year.

This is an appeal against conviction. The delay is of 24 days in filing the present appeal.

For the reasons assigned in paras 4, 5 and 6 of the application, the
