The Collector has decided proposal of the Petitioner and has observed that land asked for by the Petitioner cannot be given. About 5 acre land is given on lease basis for Kolambi project and remaining land is proposed to be notified as reserved forest. Proceedings to that effect are in progress.

It is for the Petitioner to assail the Order passed by the Resident Deputy Collector dated 31 May 2022, as may be permissible under law. In view of that, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
