The above Writ Petition is filed for the following relief : "(a)That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of certiorari or a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India calling for the records of the case and after going into the legality, validity and propriety of the same, quash and set aside the impugned property tax bill in respect of the six month period from 1 st October, 2016 to 31 st March, 2017 (being Exhibit L to the Writ Petition) and the impugned demand notice dated 17 th January, 2017 issued to the Petitioner (being Exhibit M to the Writ Petition);"

The learned Advocate appearing for the Respondents on instructions states that the Respondents shall give hearing to the Petitioner with regard to the impugned SSP 1/2

11 wp 2643 of 2017.doc bills as well as subsequent period and shall thereafter, issue fresh notice to the Petitioner. The statement is accepted. This exercise shall be completed by the Respondents within a period of two weeks from today. In the meantime, no coercive action shall be taken by the Respondents against the Respondents. 3.
