After this petition was argued for some time and we expressed our disinclination to grant any relief, particularly to issue a writ as prayed, all that the petitioner's advocate requests is a direction to dispose of the pending appeal as expeditiously as possible.

It is only on such a request, we requested Mr.Deshmukh appearing for the respondent no. 1 to respond and take instructions. Mr. Deshmukh states, on instructions, that within a period of four weeks from today, the appeal filed by the petitioner J.V.Salunke,PA
